SHOCKING! Satish Kaushik Passes Away At The Age 66, Due To Heart Attack In Delhi; Anupam Kher Mourns The Loss Of His Best Friend
Filmmaker and Bollywood veteran actor Satish Kaushik has left for his heavenly abode. At the age of 66, he passed away after suffering a heart attack while he was travelling in Gurugram, NCR on Wednesday. According to Indian Express, his body is currently at the Fortis Hospital, Gurugram and will be brought to Mumbai after postmortem. 

The media publication reports that the late veteran was visiting someone in Delhi, when his health deteriorated. Kaushik was travelling in his car, when he suffered a heart attack. His sudden passing has left the Bollywood industry and fans in deep shock. Anupam Kher took to twitter to share his tribute to the late actor. Reminiscing about their 45-year-old friendship, he wrote that life would never be the same without him.


Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut too took to the micro-blogging site and expressed her shock. Calling him her biggest cheerleader, she wrote, “Woke up to this horrible news, he was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor and director #SatishKaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man, I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, Om Shanti.”


An alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India. After starting his career in theatre, Kaushik went on to make a name for himself in Bollywood as an actor, director, producer, screenwriter and a comedian. He has movies like Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Brick Lane, Saajan Chale Sasural, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and Tere Naam among many others to his credit. He will be last seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.
